Art Journaling Bliss

Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.
Oscar Wilde

I am creating more.
And that is good...
it's very, very good.

Creating makes me happy.
It fills me up like nothing else in my life.

This year my goal is to fill my journals with what's in my heart. Everything...the good, the bad and the amazing!!:)

Using all my favorite colors, stamps, stencils, images, glue and pens.

Not over thinking....just doing.

In art, the hand can never execute anything higher than the heart can imagine.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

What are your favorite art journaling supplies??

I am linking up with Leanne from Chaos Comes Happiness today!!

***Girls...I would LOVE it if you would share my blog with your friends!! If you haven't joined our art journal group on facebook yet you can do that here and my Words of Me page here. I appreciate each one of you!!!

  1. This year, I feel like I'm being pulled towards vintage items. Wallpaper samples, vintage post cards, old cancelled stamps, old photos, and game pieces. I want to use more of these in my art, and that's just what I plan on doing! LOVE that you are art journaling. I need to do that more . . . definitely!

  2. I just ordered a whole bunch of stencils from stencil girl and I can't wait to do some journaling with them when they arrive!

  3. I really love your Be Happy page, Leslie! And I, too, am always seeking the uncluttered life, and making progress day by day. I always fall back on collage for my art journaling pages...cutting and arranging and gluing are my very best therapy!

  5. I hardly leave comments, however after looking at some
of the comments on this page "Art Journaling Bliss".
I do have a few questions for you if you tend not
to mind. Is it only me or does it look like like some of the comments look like they are written by brain dead
people? :-P And, if you are writing at additional online social sites, I'd like to follow you. Would you make a list of every one of your social pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
